Apple is building a VR version of the Apple Store, bringing a revolutionary shopping experience

0

Supporting the upcoming launch of the first AR / VR headset, the latest news that Apple is building a VR version of the Apple Store application, to bring users a new immersive experience.

Bloomberg reported earlier this year that Apple was developing augmented reality features for the Apple Store. After Apple users wear the first AR / VR headset, users will be able to see 3D models of Apple products and get a more visual understanding of the devices. Some of the features are available for iPhone and iPad on iOS / iPadOS 17.

Another recent report from The Information suggests that Apple wants to allow users to create their own AR/VR apps by asking Siri. While the feature sounds futuristic, it doesn’t appear to be enough to convince people to shell out $3,000 for a headset.

Apple is exploring “killer apps,” and the Apple Store is a good place to start. Apple may be promoting the headset shopping experience as something revolutionary. However, the influence of this experience on consumers is questionable, after all, not everyone likes to see advertising content.
