MacRumors says that improved graphics performance may be the only change to the A15 chip in iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, but the rest is not much different than the 6-core CPU, 16-core neural engine version in iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.
Apple launched a new generation of A15 bionic chip last year at this time, using 5nm process technology, with 15 billion transistors to “kill” the whole field, with two CPU cores four CPU cores, AI computing power up to 15.8TOPS.
Although the name is A15, Apple has directly split the A15 chip into several different versions for iPad mini6, iPhone 13 / mini, and iPhone 13 Pro / Max.
Overall, the A15 chip comes with a new 6-core CPU, including two performance cores and four efficiency cores. The A15 chip in the iPhone 13 has one less GPU core than the A15 chip in the Pro, which is slightly less powerful.
