Bug Fixes

  • Addressed an issue where podcasts in CarPlay may not load content
  • Fixes an issue where screen time settings could reset or not sync across all devices

Improved security:

According to Apple’s official iOS security support documentation, iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5 fix a number of vulnerabilities.

Three of these have been proven to be exploited by hackers, and Apple has previously fixed two of the vulnerabilities by releasing the iOS 16.4.1 and iPadOS 16.4.1 Rapid Security Response updates.

The remaining vulnerability exists in WebKit and allows attackers to break out of the Web content sandbox, which Apple fixed by modifying boundary checks.
