Apple released macOS Ventura 13.2.1, iPadOS 16.3.1 and iOS 16.3.1 updates today, and this update is relatively small. However, this update fixes a vulnerability that has been exploited by hackers.

According to Apple’s official update log, this update fixes a vulnerability in WebKit that allows maliciously crafted web content to executing arbitrary code. Apple said it has evidence that hackers have exploited the vulnerability to launch attacks. The vulnerability is a type of confusion issue, which Apple said has been addressed with improved checks.

There are no other noteworthy fixes in macOS Ventura 13.2.1. The iOS 16.3.1 update fixes issues with Siri Find My and iCloud settings, and optimizes the “Car Crash Detection” feature on iPhone 14 models.
