Apple introducing a magnetic design, so you don’t have to tie your shoelaces anymore

The patent does not cover iPhone, iPad and other digital devices, but rather travel accessories such as luggage straps, and even shoelaces.

Apple says in the patent that straps have a wide range of uses in everyday life, such as women’s handbags, arm straps, straps for securing items, and more. Apple says traditional straps may require a mechanical connection to secure the strap to the item and may not allow for easy personal adjustment of length and other attributes. What’s more is that subsequent unbinding would also be difficult.

In the patent that Apple introduced magnetic features at the connection point, and then connected various materials such as metal, fabric and fiber to secure the connection through a more flexible way.
