According to previous reports, Apple will debut its AR/VR headset at WWDC 2023 next week. This is also a critical moment for Apple to enter a new product field.

According to the latest news from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple has built a special experience area in its Apple Park headquarters, which can easily demonstrate the Apple Reality Pro (the tentative name of the breaking news) AR / VR headset to the media. The location is the ” basketball court near the employee fitness center”.

Mark Gurman said Apple plans to show off the headset to “some attendees and the media” on June 5, with future demonstrations in the summer. The headset could be available by the end of this year or early 2024.

The headset is currently being simply called “Apple Reality Pro,” but the final official name is unknown. Apple has also registered trademarks for other names such as “Reality One” and “XR Pro”, and the operating system it carries is expected to be “xrOS”.

According to Bloomberg, the planned AR/VR headset demonstration will revolve around several content, including an immersive FaceTime call experience in a virtual reality environment, as well as Apple TV + content and games.

Apple’s WWDC 2023 developer conference will be held on June 6. It is expected to showcase the new features of iOS 17, the new user interface of watchOS 10, the debut of the 15-inch MacBook Air, etc.
