Apple today announced that it will open an impressive new street-facing store in Vancouver, British Columbia (BC) on Friday, November 18. The new Apple Pacific Centre store is located on the diagonal of West Georgia and Howe Streets, facing the Vancouver Art Gallery.

To celebrate the store’s grand opening, the new store’s glass facade is wrapped in colourful artwork created by renowned Canadian designer Mo Bofill in collaboration with Muskham weavers and artist Debra Sparrow.

This outdoor flagship store will replace Apple’s existing store in the adjacent Pacific Centre Mall, which originally opened in 2008. Vancouver-based publication Daily Hive shared photos of the new store earlier today, offering a closer look at the temporary artwork, wood-panelled ceiling, green wall backdrop and terrace plaza of the two-storey store that occupies the site of one of the mall’s former entrances.

Throughout the store’s grand opening weekend, visitors can attend free Today at Apple sessions, including a live performance by Vancouver rapper and musician Boslen, a Q&A hosted by Apple Music radio host George Stromboloupoulos, a live performance by award-winning choreographer Chloé Arnold, and more.

Apple Pacific Centre will join Apple St. Catharines and Apple DIX30 in the Montreal area as Apple’s third street-level store in Canada.
