Apple AirPods Pro 2 updated with 6A301 firmware, new adaptive audio

Apple today for the AirPods Pro, AirPods and AirPods Max series headphones released firmware version 6.0, and the AirPods Pro 2 brings special features.

According to the update, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 received a push of the 6A301 firmware update, which brings microphone mute and unmute quick actions, as well as adaptive audio features.

According to the feature description, during a call, press the AirPods Pro once to mute or unmute the microphone.

The AirPods Pro 2’s Adaptive Audio, on the other hand, works with iPhones upgraded to iOS 17 and supports dynamically responding to the environment in which you’re in to adjust noise cancellation and media volume, as well as automatically switching to pass-through mode when you’re speaking, lowering the volume, and pausing the media.

Additionally, other headphones like the AirPods 3 are also receiving the 6A300 firmware update, which also supports microphone mute and unmute.
