Anker’s Soundcore branded headphone lineup has a new addition, the Liberty 4. While the headphone set is priced at $149.99 for the low to mid-range headphone market, it is the first in the lineup to feature a “stick” design with dual dynamic drivers that officially claim to offer “Pushing the boundaries of sound performance to deliver clearer sound quality at all frequencies, providing the best listening experience for all types of music”.

The Liberty 4 has a built-in heart rate sensor that allows users to monitor daily data while working out through the companion Wellness app, so you can monitor your body data without a smartwatch, bracelet or ring.

Liberty 4 includes Bluetooth 5.3, Soundcore’s HearID active noise cancellation, three sizes of earbuds and six microphones (three per earbud) that should help your voice come through loud and clear to the person on the other end. They also feature multi-point connectivity, for example, to stay connected to your laptop and phone. Like their predecessors, codec support in Liberty 4 includes LDAC, AAC and SBC, but not aptX.

Under normal use, Liberty 4 can last up to 9 hours, 5 hours with Spatial Audio mode on, 6 hours in LDAC mode, and 7 hours with ANC only on.

The included charging case allows for 15 minutes of charging, 3 hours of playback, and a full charge in just 1 hour. The charging case can be charged via USB-C or wirelessly. Under normal conditions, Liberty 4 can last up to 28 hours.

Liberty 4 will be available in either black or white, with the black version available starting today at Soundcore.com
