We already know that AMD plans to divide its Ryzen 7000 series processors for laptops into multiple models according to different microarchitectures, but AMD has not publicly listed its Zen 3-based Ryzen 7000 series. CPU.

Last week, a product configuration table released by Lenovo exposed the parameters of AMD Ryzen 7030U series processors. Existing users have discovered that in a document covering the Specter Variant 2 vulnerability, AMD has officially mentioned the names of its Ryzen 7030-series and Ryzen Pro 7030-series mobile processors.

In September, AMD revealed that it would sell CPUs based on different microarchitectures within the same generation, starting with the Ryzen 7000 series processors for laptops, to provide broader product line coverage. Therefore, the Ryzen 7000 notebook processor series will include various models based on the Zen 2, Zen 3, and Zen 4 microarchitectures.

As far as is known, processors based on the Zen 2 core include Ryzen 3 7320U and Ryzen 5 7520U, while the Zen 3 processor used in mid-range laptops is called the Ryzen 7030 series, code-named “Rembrandt”, which contains the Zen 3 core and RDNA 2 nuclear display.

In addition, the highest-end Dragon Range and Phoenix APUs will belong to the Ryzen 7040 series and will feature Zen 4 cores and RDNA 3-based graphics.

In terms of specifications, the 7030U series is available in R3, R5 and R7 models, which are 4-core, 6-core and 8-core respectively, and both R7 and R5 have a Boost frequency of 4.5GHz. Its nuclear display is still expected to be the Vega series, with a maximum specification of 8CU.

AMD has previously launched the 5000U series of vests, such as the R7 5825U. In terms of parameters, the R7 5825U is 8 cores and 16 threads, up to 4.5GHz, the same as the R7 7730U.
