This Thursday, at the AMD conference, Enigma introduced the new generation of X670E valkyrie (Valkyrie) motherboards. As with other manufacturers, Enigma will follow up with a pricing announcement on September 15, the official launch day.

The X670E valkyrie is the brand’s “flagship” model for the AM5 slot and chipset used in AMD’s upcoming Riptide 7000 series processors.

The new X670E motherboard is a break from Biostar’s previous signature design and features a high-end look with gold, silver and black and reddish-brown themed line undertones.

It is worth mentioning that unlike previous models in the Valkyrie series, this X670E Valkyrie does not seem to have a logo specific to the series.

In terms of parameters, this motherboard is powered by AMD X670 chipset with two PCIe 5.0×16, four DDR5-5600MHz memory slots, dual PCIe 5.0 M.2 + dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 (with heatsink), and six SATA 3.0, with Intel I225V 2.5 Gbps NIC and Realtek ALC1220 audio chip with WIFI 6E support.

The rear of the motherboard also provides no less than 10 USB ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2-C (20 Gbps), nine USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 2.0 interfaces, as well as DP1.4 and HDMI 2.1 and 2.5G Gigabit Ethernet ports, the specific specifications are as follows.

Regarding the design, the motherboard features an ATX layout with an 8-layer PCB design and a VRM section that supports 22-phase power supply up to 105A and supports overclocking for the 7950X.

About the rest of the PCB, the media found some tools for overclocking (Qcode), as well as reset buttons, power switches and transparent cmos, etc. And there seems to be another switch in the middle of the PCB, perhaps to support disabling the second PCIe slot.
