AMD to release Zygen 7000 3D large cache models early next year

AMD announced the four first models of the Riptide 7000, which will be available on September 27. The latest news is that AMD will release three 3D cache models at CES early next year.

According to the news from Greymon55, the Raider 7000 3D V-Cache models will have R9 7950X3D, R9 7900X3D and R7 7800X3D.

In April this year, AMD R7 5800X3D processor listed with 100MB super L2 + L3 cache, the country’s first 3099 yuan.

The R7 5800X3D is equipped with 64MB of 3D V-Cache, if AMD adopts the same 3D cache on the Raider 7000, the R7 7800X3D will have up to 104MB of L2+L3 cache, the R9 7900X3D will have 142MB of L2+L3 cache, and the R9 7950X3D will have 144MB of L2+L3 cache.

In addition, according to WccfTech, the 3D cache models of the Raider 7000 are expected to have up to 30% performance improvement compared to the regular models with the same core count.

The parameters and prices of the first four models of AMD’s Raidon 7000 series processors are as follows.

  • R9 7950X: 16C32T, 4.5-5.7GHz, 80MB cache, 170W TDP, $699 (RMB 4809.12)
  • R9 7900X: 12C24T, 4.7-5.6GHz, 76MB cache, 170W TDP, $549 (RMB 3777.12)
  • R7 7700X: 8C16T, 4.5-5.4GHz, 40MB cache, 105W TDP, $399 (RMB 2745.12)
  • R5 7600X: 6C12T, 4.7-5.3GHz, 38MB cache, 105W TDP, $299 (RMB 2057.12)
