The AMD Zen 5 processor is expected to be launched by the end of 2023, according to a report by foreign technology media Tweaktown.
The report says the news comes from Gigabyte’s low-cost Ryzen server press release.
AMD's next generation of Ryzen desktop processors will launch later this year, and the processors will still use the AM5 platform, so users can buy these servers now with confidence that they can upgrade to the Ryzen 7000 series successor.
AMD’s next-generation CPUs will be based on TSMC’s 3nm or 4nm process, which is expected to result in a huge leap in performance.
