Two next-generation AMD Thread Ripper Ryzen 7000 “Storm Peak” processors have recently appeared in the Einstein @ Home database. The processors come with 96 Zen 4 cores and 192 threads, which is 50% more than the Thread Ripper Ryzen 5000.
The two AMD Thread Ripper Ryzen 7000 “Storm Peak” processor OPN codes that appear in the database are “100-000000884-21_N” and “100-000000884-20_Y”.
Both processors have the same core configuration, including 96 cores, 192 threads, and a total cache pool of 480MB (384MB L3 + 96MB L2).
These chips will utilize the 12CCD Zen 4 chip with a test platform of 128GB DDR5 memory and a Radeon PRO W6400 GPU, which more or less confirms their workstation nature.
