In April this year, AMD launched the Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, which broke the sales record of the German Mindfactory platform in its second month of listing.

The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is so popular that the latest 3D V-Cache CPUs are selling almost twice as much as the 5800X3D.

According to statistics shared by TechEpiphany, sales of AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D at German retailer MindFactory reached 4,720 units. In contrast, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D only sold 2510 units, which is only slightly more than half of the 7800X3D.

Currently, the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 3D V-Cache CPU is priced at $449, which is basically the same as the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

In addition, the Intel Core i9-13900K benefits from its good gaming performance, even if the price is as high as $550 or more, it can still eat away at the sales of 7950X3D and 7900X3D. This forced a price cut on the higher core count 3D V-Cache processors, while the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D was too popular to see a similar price cut.

Judging from the sales list of some retailers in the United States, the sales volume of AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is not as good as that of Core i9-13900K and i7-13700K, and it is not even as good as old models such as R7 5700X and R5 5600.
