AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card evaluation unlocked: slightly stronger than RX 6650 XT

The AMD RX 7600 graphics card was released today, priced at US$269 and it is expected to go on sale tomorrow.

TechPowerUp has now released the evaluation of this graphics card, and its relative performance at 1080p, 2K and 4K resolutions is as follows:

As shown in the figure above, the performance of the RX 7600, which has basically the same specifications as the RX 6650XT, has basically not improved, with a 4% lead at 1080p and only a 2% lead at 2K and 4K resolutions.

The parameters of the RX 7600 and RX 6650 XT graphics cards attached are as follows:

The RX 7600 will use the 6nm process Navi 33 XL GPU, equipped with 32 computing units, that is, 2048 stream processors, 8GB GDDR6 memory with 128bit bit width, GPU Boost frequency up to 2.66GHz, and power consumption of 165W.

For comparison, the old RX 6650 XT adopts Navi 23 with 7nm process, which is also equipped with 32 computing units, that is, 2048 stream processors, 8GB GDDR6 memory with 128bit bit width, GPU Boost frequency up to 2635 MHz, and power consumption of 180W.
