AMD Radeon 780M core display 3DMark TimeSpy graphics card score

According to the “Golden Pig upgrade package” news, AMD’s latest Radeon 780M core with LPDDR5-6400 memory 3DMark TimeSpy graphics score has broken 3000.

As a comparison, the average score of the previous generation Radeon 680M aggregated by the 3DMark website is 2381 points, and the highest score can reach 2949 points.

The AMD R7 7840HS processor’s Radeon 780M core is the latest RDNA3 architecture, with 12CUs and a GPU frequency of 2700MHz. The latest LPDDR5-7500 memory should score higher on the graphics card.

AMD initially announced that notebooks with the Radeon 7040 HS processor would be available in March 2023, but no manufacturer has yet to put the model on the shelves.

AMD Ryzen 7040H/HS series model parameters are as follows:

  • R9 7940H / HS: 8 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.2GHz, 45/35W TDP
  • R7 7840H / HS: 8 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.1GHz, 45/35W TDP
  • R5 7640H/HS: 6 cores, 12 threads, up to 5.0GHz, 45/35W TDP
