The AMD PRO Edition 22.Q3 driver is now available and supports Windows 11 version 22H2 and improves the performance of OpenGL applications by 72%, the company announced yesterday on its official blog platform.

AMD says the latest drivers deliver significant performance improvements, such as in 3D animation Autodesk Maya software, where the AMD Radeon PRO W6800 graphics card delivers a 41% performance boost compared to the NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics card using Quadro Optimal Driver for Enterprise (ODE) 516.94. This is a 41% increase in performance.

Here are AMD’s official performance gains, up to 72% in Autodesk Maya compared to PRO Edition 22.Q2 drivers.

The AMD PRO Edition 22.Q3 drivers have been stability tested and approved by Dell, HP and Lenovo and are available via their driver downloads.

AMD says that the PRO Edition 22.Q3 drivers include a rebuilt OpenGL driver. This new architecture was introduced to consumers in July 2022 with the Adrenaline 22.7.1 driver and is now being extended to professional user platforms. The new architecture will also help to reduce the power consumption of Radeon PRO workstation graphics cards and improve the performance of integrated platforms.
