The Radeon RX 6400, which uses the slashed Navi 24 GPU core, has a rather weak presence in the gaming graphics card market. Even so, a unique Radeon Pro W6300 workstation model popped up on AMD’s website. Earlier, @Komachi_Ensaka found it on the driver support page for AMD professional graphics cards.

Tom’s Hardware points out – the Radeon Pro W6300 workstation graphics card or the consumer-leading Radeon RX 6000 series entry card with 768 stream processors and possibly 2GB @ 32-bit VRAM specs.

"As a professional entry-level graphics card, the Radeon Pro W6300 is suitable for customers who need to work on a developer-certified hardware and software platform.

AMD typically offers workstation graphics cards that correspond to consumer GPU SKUs, so Tom's Haraware speculates that there's also a potential Radeon RX 6300 entry-level desktop graphics card."

AMD has previously defined the Radeon RX 6400 4GB and Radeon Pro W6400 4GB graphics cards as entry-level OEM discrete graphics product lines.

Of course, that hasn’t stopped the company’s AIB partners from launching a retail-focused RX 6400 model, ideal for those on a budget of less than $200.

It should be noted that although AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs support the Gen 4 PCIe bus, the slot bandwidth is also limited to PCIe 4.0 x4.

In addition to the mobile GPU market, the company also offers Radeon RX 6300M and Radeon Pro W6300 solutions.

"It uses the Navi 24 XML GPU core with 768 stream processor units, 8MB unlimited cache and 32-bit @ 2GB video memory.

For reference, the Radeon RX 6400 with Navi 24 XL GPU core has 4GB @ 64-bit GDDR6 memory."

Finally, whether the Radeon Pro W6300 / Radeon RX 6300 with the core of Navi 24 XL GPU will be cut again, or whether the frequency will be reduced only on the basis of the Radeon Pro W6400 / Radeon RX 6400, remains to be announced by AMD in the future.
