AMD Launches Ryzen/Xeon 7020C Series Processors Designed for Chromebooks

The AMD Ryzen/Xeon 7020C series processors are designed for Chromebooks, with Zen2 architecture and RDNA2 core graphics.

Officially, AMD’s Ryzen and Xeon 7020 C series processors are up to 4 cores and 8 threads at up to 4.3 GHz. In terms of performance, the AMD Ryzen 3 7320C processor, for example, delivers 1.6x higher average performance on test workloads and up to 3.5 hours longer battery life than previous generation mainstream Riptide processors. In addition, the processors support LPDDR5 memory, integrated AMD Radeon 610M graphics, and support for connecting three 4K displays.

Chromebooks with Radeon and Sprint 7020 C-Series processors are expected to be available from global OEM partners, including ASUS and Dell, in the second quarter of 2023.
