AMD released the Ryzen 7040HS series of processors in January this year and announced that notebooks equipped with the series shipped in March this year.

After that, AMD delayed the launch of the series of processors to April and unblocked the performance on the last day of April. The time came in May, and AMD finally announced that devices powered by the Ryzen 7040HS processor would be available in a few weeks.

An AMD spokesperson told Tom’s Hardware that AMD is indeed starting to ramp up production of the Ryzen 7040 series, and OEM partners have already started shipping the corresponding devices, primarily those with the 7040HS. As such, these devices should be arriving in the retail channel in the next few weeks.

As Lenovo has said that its Xiaoxin Pro Rex Edition will be launched this month, probably at the end of the month.

According to Lenovo’s official data, the R7 7840HS CPU part is significantly improved, with a 28.9 percent increase in multi-core scores, but the core display is not much improved, at 14.1 percent.
