AMD announces Ryzen 7000 series processors: 16-core R9 7950X up to 5.7GHz

Today, AMD officially released the Ryzen 7000 series processors, including four R5 7600X to R9 7950X, which will go on sale on September 27.

As shown above, the parameters and prices for the first four models of AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors are as follows

R9 7950X: 16C32T, 4.5-5.7GHz, 80MB cache, 170W TDP, $699 (about RMB 4809.12 approx.)

R9 7900X: 12C24T, 4.7-5.6GHz, 76MB cache, 170W TDP, $549 (about RMB 3777.12)

R7 7700X: 8C16T, 4.5-5.4GHz, 40MB cache, 105W TDP, $399 (about RMB 2745.12)

R5 7600X: 6C12T, 4.7-5.3GHz, 38MB cache, 105W TDP, $299 (about RMB. 2057.12)

The Ryzen 7000 series processors use a 5nm process and Zen4 architecture. Officials say that the IPC has increased by 13%, and coupled with the 5.7GHz frequency, the single-core performance has increased by 29%.

According to AMD’s test data, the Geekbench single-core running points of the first four models of the AMD Ryzen 7000 series all exceeded Intel’s current flagship processor i9-12900K.

AMD compared the R9 7950X to the i9-12900K, and in terms of gaming performance, the AMD model was up 23% in DOTA2; in terms of creativity, the AMD model was 63% ahead on V-Ray.
