Xiaomi launched the first Civi phone in September 2021. In April 2022, the company launched the Civi 1s as an updated version of the original phone. In September 2022, the company unveiled the Civi 2 with a renewed design. While reports are calling the next-generation Civi phone the Civi 3, it is likely that it could be dubbed as Civi 2s.

Rumors have revealed that the next Civi phone will continue to sport the same front design as the Civi 2. In other words, it will have a curved-edge OLED panel with a pill-shaped cutout housing a pair of selfie cameras. Hence, it is likely that the next Civi phone could be called the Xiaomi Civi 2s.

Rumors have claimed that the device will continue to feature dual 32-megapixel cameras on the front and a Sony IMX800 50MP triple camera unit on the back. It is likely to come equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chip.
