Alleged Redmi Note 12 Pro spotted at 3C certification

A new Xiaomi phone with model number 22101316C has been certified by the 3C authority of China. In all likelihood, it could be the Redmi Note 12 series, which is expected to launch in October in China.

The 3C certification of the 22101316C phone reveals that it is a 5G-enabled phone. It appears that the retail package of the device may include an MDY-12-EF charger, which supports up to 67W fast charging. In October 2021, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 11 series. Hence, it appears that it’s time for the Redmi Note 12 lineup to break cover in October.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the company will launch three new Redmi smartphones as the last wave of phones before the Xiaomi 13 series. Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 13 lineup may debut in China by the end of November.

It can be said based on the Weibo post of the tipster, the 22101317C model number (M17 – codename) may belong to the Redmi Note 12. The 22101316C model number (M16 – codename) may belong to the Redmi Note 12 Pro. Lastly, there will be a third device with a 22101316UCP model number (M16UP – codename). The last one appears to be the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
