Meizu is reportedly working on the Meizu 20 series of flagship phones. A new flagship phone from the brand has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. There is a possibility that it could be the upcoming Meizu 20 handset.

The new Meizu phone that has appeared on Geekbench has the M2392 model number. It is powered by a Qualcomm chip that has “Kalama” codename. The CPU information mentioned in the Geekbench listing reveals that it has one prime core working at 3.19GHz, three cores working at 2.02GHz, and four cores ticking at 2.80GHz. The SoC also includes Adreno 740 graphics. Hence, it can be said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.

The device runs on Android 13 OS and has 12 GB of RAM onboard. In Geekbench 5’s single-core test, it achieved 1409 points, and it recorded a score of 4199 points in the multi-core test.

Last month, a report revealed that Meizu will skip the Meizu 19 moniker for its upcoming flagship phones. Apart from revealing that the company will launch Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro smartphones, the report also leaked the model numbers and configurations.

According to the report, the Meizu 20 has M381Q model number, while the Meizu 20 Pro has M391Q model number. As can be seen, the newly spotted Meizu device’s model number is different from what was revealed in the recent leak.

The report said that the Meizu 20 and 20 Pro will both have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. While there is no information on the configurations of the vanilla model, the Pro variant s expected to come in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants.
