Talking about the upcoming new year, the fist games said this week, from the global championship players to climb-the-ladder players, all will usher in a new journey. For that journey, League of Legends e-sports has announced a brand new tournament — the Pre-Season Kickoff.

For the first time, Fist Games says it will welcome a new season of League of Legends and League of Legends esports together. on January 10-11, 2023, the LCS, LEC, LCK, LPL, LJL, CBLOL, LLA, PCS and VCS will come together for a special two-day live event.

The event will look ahead to the 2023 season, introduce players to watch, introduce fans to Canyon’s 2023 season, and learn about League of Legends e-sports’ plans for the new year. Fist Games will follow up with more information about the tournament’s rules and schedule.

According to the introduction, the pre-season Kickoff Tournament will replace the League of Legends All-Star Tournament. Over the past years, the All-Star game has left countless special moments for players and fans, but in the current situation, it is difficult to unify the schedules of the All-Star players. Replacing the All-Star Game with the Pre-Season Kickoff will provide ample time off for the pros, as well as complement the regular year-end local events and celebrations for each season and provide players with a new platform to look forward to.
