The new Alienware x16 / m18 gaming notebooks have gone on sale this Wednesday, available in either i9 13900HX or HK+ RTX 4080 configurations, with pricing starting at RMB 36,999.

In addition to the 18-inch model, the new Alienware m16 is also available at Best Buy and Dell in the U.S. for $2,599 (currently about RMB 17,699) for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 model and $1,899 (currently about RMB 12,932) for the entry-level model.

The main difference between the Alienware m16 and m18 is their screens, with the former featuring a 16-inch IPS LCD panel and available in three configurations: QHD+ 240 Hz, QHD+ 165 Hz and FHD+ 480 Hz.

This model comes with a 6-cell 86 Wh battery (compared to 97 Wh in the m18) and relatively fewer USB ports.

The CPU, GPU, memory and storage options on this model are identical to those on the m18. The Alienware m16 is also available with Intel Raptor Lake-HX and AMD Dragon Range processors, RTX 40 Series and Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics cards, and up to 64 GB and 9 TB of memory and storage respectively.

In addition, Alienware also said that the AMD Ryzen / Radeon hardware model will be available in the second quarter of 2023, and Dell will announce pricing closer to the launch.
