Alienware recently announced a new AW2524HF IPS gaming display that supports AMD Freesync Premium and a 500Hz refresh rate.
The AW2524HF display features a 24.5-inch FAST IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 (FHD), supports a 500Hz refresh rate (native 480Hz), AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive-Sync certification to ensure even fast action games No tearing and no stuttering of the game, the grayscale response time is only 0.5ms (OC).
The monitor has 99% sRGB color coverage, supports HDR10 display and is TÜV certified for low blue light, with a screen brightness of 400 cd/m2.
In terms of I/O interfaces, the product has 2 x DP 1.4, 1 x HDMI 2.1 and 5 x USB 3.2 Gen1 ports on the back. The monitor has a 178-degree vertical/horizontal viewing angle and supports tilt, swivel, and built-in cable management.
The Alienware AW2524HF display is scheduled to be released globally on September 12, with a starting price of $649.99.
It is worth mentioning that Alienware launched an AW2524H display in February this year, which also supports a 500Hz refresh rate, but does not support AMD Freesync Premium and HDMI 2.1 interfaces.
