AITO has sales target of 600,000 units next year, plans release and mass-produce M8 model

According to @lateLatePost, AITO’s full-year sales target for 2024 is 600,000 vehicles. It plans to release and mass-produce the M8 next year, and at least 4 models will be on sale by then. AITO World has communicated the above sales targets to upstream supply chain manufacturers.

Thalys responded: “The sales target is dynamically adjusted based on the internal and external environment. Our joint business with Huawei’s goal of achieving production and sales of one million vehicles in 2026 has not changed. We hope to take a solid step next year.”

It was previously reported that Huawei today launched a new model, the Aito M9, with an official guide price starting from 469,800 RMB, and it was priced at over 10,000 RMB within two hours of launch.

The length, width and height of the new car are 5230/1999/1800 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3110 mm. The drag coefficient is 0.264, and it is available in 5 colors, including two solid colors and three dual color combinations.

The pure electric version of the AITO M9 accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds, and the extended-range version takes 4.9 seconds. Equipped with 4-piston fixed calipers, the braking distance from 100-0km/h is only 34.9m, and the maximum torque is 673N・ m and 675N·m. The Wanjie M9 series is equipped with Noctua enhanced steering technology, with a turning radius of only 5.8 meters.

The pure electric version is equipped with Huawei’s “Whale” 800V high-voltage battery platform, which can last 150km after charging for 5 minutes. It uses an 800V high-voltage silicon carbide high-efficiency motor and has a CLTC comprehensive range of 630km.

The AITO M9 extended-range version is available in 52-kWh and 42-kWh versions. The CLTC comprehensive range reaches 1402km and 1362km respectively, and the pure electric range is 275km and 225km respectively.
