AirPods Pro 2 audio out-of-sync and sound drift issues reported

Ever since Apple launched the AirPods Pro 2, the product that is theoretically supposed to be Apple’s most powerful TWS headphones yet, has been surrounded by all sorts of baffling issues. Recently, another user gave feedback on Reddit that he was having audio sync issues with his AirPods Pro 2.

According to the user’s description, when using AirPods Pro 2, the audio often fails to sync with the video content, and the sound has ended while the person in the video is still opening his mouth.

At the same time, some users say they have encountered the problem of “audio drift,” where even when the headphones’ spatial audio and dynamic head tracking features are disabled, the sound moves back and forth between the earbuds, and even randomly increases or decreases in volume.

Apple has not yet responded to the problem, but some users speculate that the problem may come from the headphones’ noise cancellation or pass-through mode.

In these two modes, the headphones will exist to adjust the sound field position, volume level and other operations, which means that if there are problems with these modes, then it will lead to the above-mentioned audio synchronization and drift problems.
