Cooling startup Frore Systems has previously launched the AirJet active cooling chip solution, equipped with the solution laptop will be unveiled in early 2023.

The AirJet chip comes in two models.

AirJet Mini designed for fanless and thin and light notebooks can be 1W power consumption of 5.25W.

The AirJet Pro chip is designed for larger laptops and even handheld gaming systems with more processing power and can consume 10.5W at 1.75W.

At the recent CES 2023, the AirJet active cooling chip solution was featured in a modified Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro with three AirJet Mini’s, which can press 17W power consumption and occupy less area and noise than a fan.

The AirJet chip is designed to solve the cooling problem that limits CPU performance in today’s notebook computers. This is a so-called “solid-state cooling solution” that completely abandons the traditional fan cooling method. “Inside the AirJet are tiny membranes that vibrate at ultrasonic frequencies, and these membranes create a powerful airflow that enters the AirJet through the top vent and removes heat from a separate vent,” the company said.

The company currently has the support of mainstream manufacturers such as Qualcomm, Intel, and GiS. Intel also plans to use AirJet in future Evo standard laptops.
