The foreign media also mentioned in the report that a large number of Tesla electric cars are parked in Luchao Port, which means that all the new cars parked in the Shanghai Super Factory are basically shipped to this port.
In addition, the foreign media through aerial photography also found that the Tesla electric cars that have been shipped to Luchao port, most of them are Model 3, and the remaining part is Model Y.
It’s no surprise that Tesla is exporting Model 3s made at its Shanghai Superfactory to the European market. The Shanghai Superfactory is one of two factories currently producing the Model 3 under Tesla, the other being the Fremont, California factory.
As Tesla’s super factory in Berlin started delivering Model Y in March this year, the weekly production of Model Y in this super factory reached 1,000 units in June and has started producing in three shifts, with the increase in production, the ability to supply the European market will be enhanced and the import volume of Model Y will be reduced accordingly.
