ADLINK today launched MXM (R3.1) Type A discrete graphics module MXM-AXe, based on Intel’s Razzle graphics card.

According to the official introduction, the module utilizes Intel Razzle’s hardware ray tracing, dedicated AI acceleration and support for 4x 4K displays to improve system responsiveness, accuracy and reliability for demanding and time-sensitive edge applications in industries such as gaming, medical, media processing and transportation.

In terms of parameters, the Intel Razzle graphics on the ADLINK MXM-AXe module offers up to 8 Xe ray tracing cores, 128 execution units, 4GB of GDDR6 memory, support for 8x PCIe Gen4, and 50W thermal design power consumption (TDP). Officially, it also includes the industry’s first full AV1 hardware encoding, which encodes 4.4x faster than traditional software, significantly improving graphics rendering for next-generation graphics workloads.
