Acer’s new Swift Edge 16 laptop is powered by Ryzen 7 7840U and weighs 1.23kg

Acer recently released the Swift Edge 16 laptop, equipped with a Ryzen 7040 series processor, priced at $1,300. At today’s Taipei Computer Show, Acer showed off this laptop, confirming that it is equipped with an R7 7840U processor.

This series of laptops are equipped with AMD Ryzen 7040 series processors and can be equipped with AMD Radeon 780M core display at most, providing next-generation performance and visual effects, and leading the pack in the AI development wave, and can be equipped with AMD Ryzen AI on designated processor models. Memory options up to 32GB and SSD options up to 2TB.

In addition, Swift Edge 16 is equipped with a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with an upgraded refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. According to foreign media sources, this laptop supports Wi-Fi 7 wireless networks and uses Qualcomm’s FastConnect 7800 platform.
