Abarth, a sports brand under the Stellantis Group, officially released its first electric car, the Abarth 500e. The maximum horsepower has also been increased to 155 horsepower, and the acceleration time from 100 kilometers of the original factory is within 7 seconds.
In terms of appearance, compared with the Fiat 500e, the overall shape of the new Fiat 500e Abarth remains unchanged, mainly because some details have changed. The logo is changed to the “ABARTH” logo, and the detailed design of the front and rear bumpers and the shape of the wheel rims have been upgraded.
In terms of interior, the new Fiat 500e Abarth also has some changes in details, such as changing the original two-spoke steering wheel to a three-spoke steering wheel, and is equipped with a blue marking belt to remind the driver of the position of the steering wheel. The “500” in the center “Logo was also changed to a yellow scorpion logo. Technology equipment is also readily available, including automatic opening and closing headlights and wipers, hands-free key, wireless charging pad, 360° surround view image, JBL audio system and constant temperature air conditioning, etc. In addition, the Abarth 500e is also equipped with simulated engine sound.
For the power part, the Abarth 500e uses a single electric motor, and the maximum horsepower is increased from 117PS of Fiat 500e to 155PS and 235N m. The original factory announced that 0-100km/h can be achieved in only 7 seconds. The battery has a capacity of 42kWh and supports up to 85kW fast charging, which can replenish 40 kilometers of cruising range in 5 minutes and charge to 80% in 35 minutes. In addition, the Abarth 500e provides three driving modes for drivers to choose from.
The Abarth 500e will be available for order overseas starting in the spring of 2023 and is expected to be available in Europe by early summer 2023. There is no price information yet.
