It is learned from Haval Motors officials that the 2024 Haval Raptor will be officially launched on April 23. The new Raptor has been optimized in terms of configuration and brings two eye-catching new body colors: Storm Yellow and Ink Jiangnan Gray.

In terms of appearance design, the new Raptor continues the design language of the current model. The distinctive three-banner grille on the front face is inlaid with the eye-catching Haval English logo. The LED light set adopts a semi-circular design and a square frame, presenting a unique “round sky and square earth” design concept. The thick design of the front enclosure and the embellishment of the silver lower guard further highlight the off-road attributes of the Raptor.

On the side, the new car maintains the design of wide side fenders and thick wheel eyebrows, creating a strong wide-body visual effect. At the rear of the car, the new Raptor offers an external spare tire and a rear storage box as options, while the double-layer round and rectangular taillight design enhances the vehicle’s recognition.

In terms of interior, the new car continues to be equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The middle of the center console is equipped with a multimedia touch screen with a floating design. Some physical buttons are retained in the center console channel area, and an electronic shifting mechanism is used. Official pictures show that the interior is designed in a combination of dark and light colors, with white interior panels decorated on seats, door panels, center console channels and other parts, creating a fresh interior atmosphere.

In terms of power system, the new Raptor is expected to continue to be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T hybrid-specific engine and dual motors. The power is divided into high and low versions. The high-power version has a comprehensive power of 282 kilowatts and is equipped with a 27.54kWh battery pack. The cruising range in pure electric mode can reach 145 kilometers; the low-power version has a comprehensive power of 278 kilowatts and is equipped with a 19.09kWh battery pack. , the pure electric cruising range is 102 kilometers.

Officials revealed that the new Raptor Hi4 electric four-wheel drive system has undergone 22 technical upgrades to achieve lower energy consumption, better control experience and stronger endurance. Among them, energy consumption has been reduced through the optimization of 17 control strategies; the newly added low-temperature ice and snow algorithm makes driving on snow smoother and more responsive; precise settings for highways and urban streets improve the vehicle’s power retention capability , reaching an improvement of 2%.
