The Samsung W series is an ultra-high-end phone created by China Telecom and Samsung and has been launched every year since 2008.

This evening, Samsung officially announced the new immersive W23 and the first palm folding screen model, the W23 Flip, priced at RMB 15,999 (16+512GB) and RMB 9,999 (12+512GB) respectively, with the biggest difference from the Galaxy Z series 4 generation machine is the design and large memory.

The core configuration is basically the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip, the W23 has a built-in 4400mAh battery, supports 25W wired fast charging + 15W wireless charging and includes an S Pen.

The Samsung W23 has a 7.6-inch internal screen with a resolution of 2176 x 1812 and a 6.2-inch external screen with a resolution of 2316 x 904, a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear with OIS optical stabilization support, as well as a 10-megapixel telephoto and 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, a 4-megapixel front-facing camera on the internal screen and a 4400mAh battery.

The Samsung W23’s hinge can hover, and with the adaptive split screen mode, the home screen can be divided into two parts, with video conferencing on top and note-taking with the S Pen on the bottom.

The W23 Flip and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 are both powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors, have 12GB of RAM and feature a 6.7-inch 2640 x 1080 resolution 120Hz refresh rate main screen and a 1.9-inch 260 x 512 resolution smaller screen.

The Samsung W23 hinge housing is precision cut from high-end watch metal, sculpted with a nano-polished finish, and features a new structured hinge that is thinner and more flexible, a special gold frame + black ceramic, and a unique jewel-like chevron pattern sculpted design.
