A few months ago, the ZTE Blade V40s became official and the new ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ follows its design language. This new device comes with the same camera cutout, amount of rear cameras, and classic flat-edge design that we see on the Blade V40s. Well, most of the similarities between these two devices only lie on the outside, as the internal specifications are an entirely new game.
Starting with its camera abilities, the new Voyage 40 Pro+ comes with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64MP main camera. The secondary camera lenses are a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor, which are common on midrange smartphones. On its 6.67-inch AMOLED, FHD+ screen display sits a 16MP selfie camera in a centre screen cutout.

Asides from the upgrades in the camera setup of the ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ in comparison with the similar Blade 40s, there are a ton of other improvements. One such comes with the processor, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. Supporting this processor is 8GB worth of RAM capacity that is expandable with 6GB of virtual RAM.
For storage capacity, this device comes with 256GB of ROM, which is okay for a midrange device and is expandable with a microSD card. The battery capacity on the ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ is, 4510mAh, and it supports 66W fast charging for a quick refill when the battery runs out. Its software is ZTE MyOS 12 based on Android S meaning that it brings tons of customizations and extra features.
The design of this device is also very nice as it features flat sides, a slim body profile, and attractive colour options. There is also a colour option known as the Starry Night edition, and it features some special paint patterns that create an image on the device’s back glass. This smartphone retails for $305 and will soon be available for purchase in China.
