The Chinese smartphone maker is stepping back to launch the ZTE Axon 30S, an entry into its previous series. Earlier this year the company launched their Axon 40 series with the Ultra model housing an under-display camera sensor. By far that sensor still stands to be the most advanced in the industry, now they are bringing it to the Axon 30 series.

ZTE took to their Weibo account to announce the coming of their new device with a promotion image. This device will launch on September 26, just a few days away. The promotion image showcases the screen of this device, and it lacks a noticeable selfie camera sensor.

The lack of a noticeable selfie sensor is due to the presence of an under-display selfie camera sensor. This will help the ZTE Axon 30S to achieve a complete full-screen experience which most other brands have not yet been able to achieve. ZTE has taken the under-display camera design and is proceeding to make it even better than it already is at the moment.

In comparison to the Axon 30 series from last year, ZTE’s under-display technology on the Axon 40 series is a total reform. The coming ZTE Axon 30S will also make use of the same technology on the 40 series to produce a seamless and uninterrupted full-screen experience. For now, the specifications of this device are not available, but we will learn more about it once it launches on September 26.
