However, there are many LDO models, and the current share of LDO in the customer BOM table is low, accounting for less than 20% of the company’s sales.
Yachting Electronics said that a single car is expected to motor drive chip, LDO and DC-DC and LED driver IC each about 100 yuan.
Information shows that LDO is mainly for the chip power supply around, with the development of automotive intelligent demand, the use of power chips to enhance; DC-DC is mainly for the new energy electrification of the pull, such as BMS inside the incremental part compared to the traditional car.
Yachuang Electronics said, at present, each car is equipped with 30-40 motors as standard, some comfort high-end car usage can reach more than 100, for example, the seat all-directional adjustment requires a lot of motors. Dongfeng and Arashiro can electrically adjust each seat, the amount is more. The company now batch supply and send samples of motor products have covered most of the standard motor needs, part of the special applications in the development process.
Yachting Electronics pointed out that the company’s chip is analog IC, the volume of individual customers will not be particularly large, the company’s product customer penetration rate is relatively high, more domestic brand customers, such as BYD, Geely, Great Wall, SAIC, Wei Xiaoli, etc..
Regarding automotive chips, Yachting Electronics said that it is expected that in the fourth quarter of this year, supply and demand will return to balance, and the company is actively talking to suppliers about the capacity situation to ensure timely delivery of orders and meet customer demand.
Automotive industry product prices are relatively stable, will not be arbitrary price increases and price reductions, unless the supply side of raw materials price increases, the company will conduct to the client. At present, the gross profit margin of overseas companies in analog chips is usually maintained between 60-70%, and the gross profit margin of domestic manufacturers is around 50%, and the overall profit is more stable.
Artronics IC business is still in the growth stage, the current priority is to accelerate the expansion of market share, gross margin can be maintained at about 45%. Through the distribution business, the company can understand the cutting-edge needs of the market and future development direction, and capture the opportunities of new trends in advance, and have foresight and initiative on demand, which is conducive to speeding up the company’s product layout and subsequent import promotion progress.
At present in the market, Tower and Eastern Electronics’ automotive grade production capacity is still tight, and Eastern has an advantage in the high voltage BCD process. At the beginning of 2021, when the production capacity is most tight, we will start to enter Eastern Electronics and obtain some of the production capacity.
