Xpeng Motors announced that the New Year launch conference of “Xpeng Really Smart Driving, Easy to Use Nationwide” will be held on January 30th.

According to previous reports, Xpeng Motors announced on January 2 that from now on, the urban intelligent driving capabilities of Xpeng XNGP intelligent assisted driving system will cover an additional 191 cities in addition to the existing 52 cities. The number reaches 243 cities (including 3 municipalities, 9 provincial capital cities, 150 prefecture-level cities, and 81 county-level cities), which is the undisputed number one in the current industry.
Xpeng G9, G6, and P7i users who have currently upgraded to Xmart OS 4.5.0 do not need to wait for OTA again. As long as the driving range matches the corresponding open area, they can experience the leading smart driving functions in the country. The Xpeng X9, which has just been launched, provides the latest XNGP functions and city coverage upon delivery.
According to reports, Xpeng Motors can cover various complex scenarios and cross-scenario traffic in core cities; in prefecture-level or county-level cities, it will prioritize the opening of core road sections commonly used by users to ensure that the XNGP experience in these cities is relatively continuous and complete. In the future, Xpeng will have special functions for lower-level road coverage.
