Xpeng car today released the official spy photos of its new coupe SUV model G6, which will be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show to be held from April 18 to 27, and will be officially released and start delivery at the end of the second quarter of this year, priced in the range of 200,000-300,000 yuan.
Xpeng G6 has appeared in the previous Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s new car catalogue. The new car is based on the three-generation F platform of Xpeng car, positioning medium-sized coupe SUV.
The overall look of the G6 is similar to the Tesla Model Y, but still continues the latest generation of the family design language of the Peng, the front of the Peng signature through the LED light belt and split headlight design. The car has hidden door handles and a sliding roof design. The dimensions of the car are 475319201650mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2890mm.
Interior, according to the previous spy photos of the interior, its biggest change is the change of the suspension centre screen.
The new car offers two options: single-motor and dual-motor, of which the single-motor version has a maximum rate of 218kW, while the dual-motor version will add a drive motor with a maximum power of 140kW and a maximum speed of 202 km / h. As for the battery, the new car will be equipped with a ternary lithium battery of the China Innovation Navigation. In addition, the new car is based on the 800V high-voltage SiC platform, with the same 800V fast charging technology as the Xpeng G9.
The new car is expected to be equipped with Xpeng’s advanced smart connectivity and smart driving features. At present, Xpeng has developed “all-scene assisted driving”, including high-speed NGP, city NGP, LCC enhancement and other intelligent assisted driving functions, which are expected to appear on the Xpeng G6.
In addition, He Xiaopeng also revealed some important information about the Xpeng G6 at the 2022 full-year earnings meeting. Xpeng’s integrated die-casting technology will be applied to the Xpeng G6, thus further controlling manufacturing costs. In terms of range, He Xiaopeng introduced that thanks to CIB technology, thermal management technology, and wind resistance capability, the Xpeng G6’s range performance will exceed everyone’s imagination.
