The car is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV, providing two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive power, its comprehensive R&D cost is reduced by about half compared with previous architecture platform models, and the intelligent experience iteration cycle is shortened by 30%. According to previous news, the Xpeng G6 is expected to be launched and delivered in the middle of this year, and the price is expected to be in the range of 200,000 to 300,000 yuan.
Xpeng G6 is the first model of Fuyao architecture, with 800V + silicon carbide platform blessing, very fast charging speed and low energy consumption. In addition, the new car is also equipped with dual lidar, second-generation XNGP and ceiling-level intelligent voice, and there is even ample interior space.
In terms of appearance, Xpeng invited Liu Cixin as the forward-looking design consultant of Xpeng G6. The car is built with the design concept of “technological flow aesthetics”, and the overall appearance is round. The middle of the LED light strip on the front of the car is a disconnected design, and the headlights and the lidar below adopt an integrated design.
It is reported that the Xpeng G6 is equipped with a total of 31 intelligent perception hardware and provides 508TOPS computing power, which can support high-level assisted driving functions.
Xpeng G6 adopts a slip-back shape, and 17 low-resistance designs such as hidden door handles and rims make the car’s drag coefficient only 0.248.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the Xpeng G6 are 4753/1920/1650 mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2890 mm, and it also has a 60.8% axle length ratio. The car is also equipped with an adaptive lift tail, which can automatically adjust the lift height according to the speed of the vehicle.
The interior of Xpeng G6 adopts a new design style. The entire center console incorporates the “Vector Star Ring” design. The full LCD instrument panel measures 10.2 inches, while the center control screen measures 14.96 inches. It is equipped with Xmart OS 4.0 car-machine system, and Equipped with full-scene four-tone zone voice function.
In terms of configuration, Xpeng G6 is equipped with wind-free smart air conditioning, panoramic canopy, front seat heating/ventilation, mobile phone wireless charging panel and other configurations, and supports the “XOpera Xpeng Concert Hall” function.
In terms of power, the Xpeng G6 will provide two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 218 kW and a peak torque of 440 Nm; the four-wheel drive version has a combined power of 358 kW and a combined torque of 660 Nm. The car will be matched with 66 kWh lithium iron phosphate and 87.5 kWh ternary lithium battery packs, and supports 800V fast charging, but the battery life information has not been announced.
