Every year, Xiaomi upgrades its old smartphone with a new successor. The same goes for Mi 11 series, almost all the devices have been upgraded by the Xiaomi 12 series which includes Xiaomi 12 Lite, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12S Ultra. However, a lot of them are waiting to launch in a few particular markets. Now, we have information indicating that the brand may discontinue the Mi 11 Lite.
Mi 11 Lite to be discontinued soon; rumours
According to MySmartPrice, a renowned site from India, Xiaomi will launch its Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G smartphone in India soon. It will upgrade the Mi 11 Lite smartphone, and hence the Mi 11 Lite will get discontinued in the country soon after the release of the upgraded version. However, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be continued to sell in the market.
The report also makes sense as the Mi 11 Lite wasn’t an extraordinary device, and as the successor will hit the market, the brand will discontinue the product. It was a decent device offering specifications like a 90Hz Super AMOLED panel with Dolby Vision support, Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G and a 64-megapixels triple rear camera setup.

Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Lite features a 6.55-inch, 120Hz refresh rate OLED panel with HDR10+ support. The device will have a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera. The Xiaomi 12 Lite will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The MIUI 13 software, which is based on Android 12, will start the Xiaomi 12 Lite right out of the box. The Xiaomi 12 Lite will also have a 4,300mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
