Xiaomi held a press conference in Berlin today to launch products such as the Xiaomi 13T smartphone and Xiaomi Mi Band 8.
Xiaomi has already launched Mi Band 8 in China in April this year, but at this event, it will launch a more user-friendly version of Mi Band 8 Active.
According to the exposed renderings, Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Active uses a 1.47-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 172 x 320 pixels, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a pixel density of 247 PPI.
In terms of storage, this watch is equipped with 192 kB of memory and 16MB of storage, supports 5 ATM waterproofing, can work under 50 meters of water, and the strap is made of TPU material.
In terms of connectivity, Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Active supports Bluetooth 5.1, a 3-axis accelerometer and a PPG heart rate sensor, providing various health monitoring functions including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking and SpO2 measurement.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active will be equipped with a 210mAh battery, which is expected to last 14 days when fully charged. Charging takes about 2 hours. The band itself weighs 26.4 grams and is 9.99 mm thick.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active is compatible with Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) and will offer more than 50 workout modes, including 10 professional modes, as well as access to more than 100 watch interfaces.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active is priced at 40 euros (currently about RMB 310) in the European market, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is priced at 50 euros (currently about RMB 388).
