Xiaomi Redmi K50 Ultra from 2999 yuan: Snapdragon 8+, 1.5K straight screen, 100-megapixel optical stabilization, 120W fast charging

August 11, Xiaomi Redmi K50 Ultra was officially released this evening with a new look and price starting from 2999 yuan.

The Redmi K50 Ultra comes in three colorways: Silver Trace, Elegant Black, and Ice Blue, features a metal camera DECO, deep curved surface AG glass, is 8.6mm thick, and weighs 202g.

The Redmi K50 Premium Edition is equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and comes with “Performance Mode” for more aggressive gaming tuning with no resolution drop at 120Hz. It has a total heat dissipation area of 30,000mm², and the official test of “Original Gods” has a maximum body temperature of 46°C and an average frame rate of 58.03 FPS.

The Redmi K50 Ultra also comes with an exclusive custom 1.5K straight screen with 446PPi, support for high-frequency PWM dimming, SGS Low Visual Fatigue certification, and screen power consumption performance almost on par with 1080P.

In addition, the Redmi K50 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery, supports 120W fast charging, and is equipped with Xiaomi’s own Surge P1 charging chip.

Other aspects, Redmi K50 Ultra returns to the under-screen fingerprint, has stereo dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, supports NFC, infrared remote control, IP53 dust and water resistance, and is equipped with MIUI 13 system.
