Muralikrishnan B, President of Xiaomi India, announced that the Redmi 12 series has achieved a huge milestone – 1 million units were sold in India in just 28 days.
It is understood that the Redmi 12 series starts at 9,999 rupees in India (currently about RMB 880, 4GB+128GB), and the 12GB+128GB version is priced at 15,999 rupees (currently about RMB 1,408).
Redmi 12 is equipped with a 6.79-inch touchscreen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels (FHD+). It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor and has a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging.
In terms of imaging, the machine uses three rear cameras: a 50MP main camera (f/1.8) + 8MP lens (f/2.2) + 2MP lens (f/2.4), and a front-facing 8MP lens (f/2.1).
