According to the State Intellectual Property Office of China Patent Publication Notice (Authorization Notice No.: CN217883600U) shows that Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. applied for the “a camera mobile mechanism and electronic device” patent was authorized and published.

The abstract shows that the present disclosure relates to a camera moving mechanism and an electronic device, the camera moving mechanism includes a drive mechanism, the drive mechanism includes a connected power input end, a plane linkage mechanism and a power output end, and the power output end is used to connect with the camera; a drive part, the drive part is connected to the power output end, the drive part is used to drive the power output end between a first position and a second position through the power input end and the plane linkage mechanism to drive the said camera moving mechanism. The drive section is used to drive the power output between the first position and the second position through the power input and the planar linkage mechanism to drive said camera in a moving action. The normal use of the camera is ensured without destroying the integrity of the display panel of the electronic device, the full screen of the electronic device can be realized, the movement of the camera is realized by using a mechanical structure, and the structure is simple and reliable, the operation is convenient and the cost is low.

The patent specification says that the transmission mechanism uses a plane linkage mechanism for power transmission, making the overall movement of the transmission mechanism located in a plane, reducing the thickness of the electronic device using the camera movement mechanism, which is conducive to thin and light electronic devices.

Xiaomi previously launched a number of phones with pop-up cameras, such as the Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro, etc., but did not continue in subsequent models, turning to a perforated screen design.
