Xiaomi Poco is gearing up to launch the Poco F5 smartphone in India and it can now be confirmed that the phone is essentially a brand-renamed version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Now, Poco India chief Himanshu Tandon has shared images of the device in real life, in Carbon Black and Blizzard White colors respectively.
Abhishek Yadav revealed that the device will be priced below 30,000 Indian rupees.
The Xiaomi Poco F5 smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. Qualcomm says that compared to Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 will bring 50% overall performance improvement, 13% energy efficiency improvement and 2X AI performance improvement.
Xiaomi Poco F5 configuration specifications and Redmi Note 12 Turbo is very similar, will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery, 67W fast charging and a pre-installed running Android 13-based MIUI 14 system; other specifications should include a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and rear 64MP main camera. POCO F5 Pro is expected to be equipped with POCO F5 Pro is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, along with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory combination.
