The Xiaomi POCO C50 has launched with some specifications that we have seen previously on another device. Yes, this new budget device from POCO is just a replica of the already existing Xiaomi Redmi A1. But, let us still take a look at the specifications that make this device stand out from the competition in its price range.
For its screen, this device comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel, which comes with up to 400 nits brightness. The processor that comes with this device is the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, which doesn’t pack a performance punch. This new device from POCO comes with up to 3GB and 32GB worth of memory and storage capacity.

The camera abilities on the new Xiaomi POCO C50 aren’t so impressive considering the device’s price. It comes with a dual-rear camera setup housing an 8MP main camera sensor and a secondary camera. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera sensor that sits in the water-drop screen cutout. As for its design, this device comes with a leather-like texture design, but, the panels are made from plastic.
A difference between the Redmi A1 and the Xiaomi POCO C50 is the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the latter. The device from POCO also runs Android 12 Go with customization from the MIUI software for POCO devices. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery capacity with 10W fast charging support. For its retail price, this device starts at 6,499 Rupee (~$78) for its base storage model.
